Illustration of jumper, break and broken pin in computer qui

The broken needle, jump line and broken line of the computer quilting machine are one of the most headaches during quilting, and the broken needle sometimes even leads to the discarding of a bed quilt, which increases the cost of production and operation. If these situations are not handled well, which will seriously affect the daily production, how can we eliminate these failures? A small sum up a few points, I hope to help you!

1, the jumper is because the rotary shuttle and the needle are not adjusted in place. Under the premise of correctly installing the needle, the needle moves from top to bottom and spin. When the needle is lowered to the lowest position, the spindle tip of the shuttle should be in the range from 14 degrees to 18 degrees, and it is 10~12 millimeters away from the center of the needle. That is to say, the needle bar is down to the lowest point, the shuttle tip is 3.5-4MM away from the needle, the needle bar rises 2.2MM, the shuttle tip reaches the machine needle center, and the distance from the needle hole 1.2-1.5MM.

2, the broken line is due to burrs on the needle plate or pinhole. If the broken ends are horsetail, they may be thread burrs, too tight clamping wires, and excessive wire take-up. If the end of the broken line is cut, it may be the change in the mechanical structure position of the machine, the disassembly and disassembly in the process of disassembly and disassembly, the collision damage of the parts by the broken needle and other parts, and the burr on the edge of the parts. If a thread breaks one or two yarns, it may be caused by too high presser height.

3, the broken needle is because the machine needle touches the metal parts such as rotary shuttle. The position of the needle and the hook tip, or not. Whether the needle is too thin or the quilt is too thick. Whether the foot height is too low, so that the needle and the foot rub. Check the wear of nylon gear and screw loosening. Check synchronous pulley loosening. Check the needle plate. There is no mark on the needle.

Warm reminder: long time use of a machine needle may wear out. If there is wear, it is suggested that the machine needle should be replaced before retuning with the shuttle.
